Bug Club
Does your child spend all of their time on the computer or playing video games? Do you wish that your child was more into reading? Well Bug Club gives you the best of both worlds! Bug Club enables children to read fun, engaging and age appropriate books online.
Each child has their own log in. Your child's class teacher can therefore assign each child appropriate books for their learning age. Your child can choose their assigned book, read it and answer comprehension questions by clicking on the bugs. Children earn bug point and are rewarded with prizes to decorate their own virtual tree house.
Bug Club isn't an alternative to reading 'real' books but can be a great way to get children inspired. Also, because children enjoy Bug Club so much it can be a great reward for after children have done their homework or home reading.
