Partial School Closure:
Please be aware that on the 30th December, the Government announced the partial closure of primary schools in specific areas commencing from 4th January 2021. We are still open to the children of Key Workers, and also to children that we have chosen to invite in for specific reasons.
During this time, if your children are not in school, then there is still an expectation for them to access learning. You can read more about this in our document Remote Education Provision - Information for Parents.
If you are a key worker and wish for your child to be in school during this closure, then please fill in the form linked at the bottom of this page 'Key Worker Application'.
During these unprecedented times, we have complete empathy with just how confusing and overwhelming it can be to understand what is the best approach to supporting your child - in all ways, education, health and general wellbeing.
At The Flourish Federation (Brookfield Infant and Junior Schools) we are confident in being able to provide your child with an environment that is as safe and secure as possible, and that in working together as a community, while we understand that there will always be various factors over which we have little control, we can work to provide a nurturing environment in which your child can continue to 'flourish'.
This corner of the website will hopefully answer any questions that you do have providing guidance and advice on what to to if you think your child or a family member are showing signs of COVID -19, where to go with remote learning, as well as up to date information from both the Local Authority and the Government on current restrictions and rules.
