Week 3 - 18th January

Here you will find our documents/PDFs or PowerPoints for Teaching of the Live Zooms and also any follow-up activities that we want the children to complete.

Work can be completed in the children’s green Home Learning Books or on any paper you have home. We are asking that all work completed at home be either photographed and sent via dojo or brought into school when we return.

 Monday

Please find all resources attached underneath the explanation of the activity.

Additional Activity: Phoneme Story Lucy's School Trip - Can the children find an example of each long vowel sound? What diagraph does it use?

English - We will practise the activity on Zoom then children will complete it independently at home.

  • Read each paragraph of the beginning and middle of English – Story: “Sayeeda the Pirate Princess”.
  • Can children act out the beginning and middle using finger puppets, lego action toys or with brothers and sisters? Please send in videos of these, we’d love to see 😊

Task 1: With a red pencil: underline all the nouns. Remember a noun is a person, place or thing.

Task 2: With a green pencil: circle       all the adjectives. Remember an adjective is a describing word.
