Hello, my name is Dave Butterworth, and I joined the Flourish Federation Governor Board in October 2024.

Both my children were pupils at both Brookfield Infants and Junior schools, many years ago. I now have grandchildren who are travelling the same journey.

I currently teach criminal law in the public sector, which came about after retiring from the Police as an operational officer.

I joined this pro-active board to have an opportunity to mould and develop the children’s foundation of embedded learning to achieve the stability to support their future lives.

I aim to bring my knowledge and experiences into the current mix to support the children, staff and community of both Brookfield schools.
