Hello, my name is Erika Cross and I have been a governor since 2021.

Both of my children were pupils at Brookfield Infant and Junior Schools. My son has now moved on to a local grammar school, where he is in Year 11 and my daughter is at university in Brighton.

I work as Senior Deputy Head at Sevenoaks Preparatory School, where I also teach English to pupils in Years 6 and 7. I am passionate about reading and I have managed a number of school libraries during my career. I have worked in education for over twenty years and I am delighted to be a governor at the Flourish Federation where I am currently co-chair.

Having the opportunity to be involved in driving the strategic vision of the school, is both challenging and rewarding and I am looking forward to continuing to be part of the school community over the coming years.
