Parent Engagement

This page is all about how we engage with yourselves - You can find meeting notes on here, such as our recent Year 2 to 3 transition meeting, parent voice following surveys and more.

We have lots planned for 2024-25, bringing you more into our school community and sharing the work that your children learn.

How we engage

From September 2024

Year 3 parent meetings - Over term 1, we will be inviting you in so that we can properly meet you and learn about year child - as a person. What is special about your child? What interests them? This is standard for when your child joins EYFS; why should it not be so for Year 3 in a new school?

Regular opportunities to view work - Every two weeks, classroom doors are open after school on a Friday for ten minutes. This is to give you an opportunity to come in and look at your child's work. Please note, it is not a parents evening opportunity, it is simply about opening up the learning that your child is partaking in with you and for their books to be familiar to you. This is on alternate weeks for Years 3 & 4 (Week a) and Years 5 & 6 (Week b), so that if you have siblings then there is hopefully a bit more flexibility in seeing their work.

Please note - The omitted questions (1 & 2) are asking which school in the federation, and which classes the children are in. All results are filtered to Junior-only responses.
