At Brookfield Infant School we use the Purple Mash scheme to teach Computing. Children are taught a range of Computing skills and where possible work is linked to the termly topics. They can support their learning by using Purple Mash at home and all children are provided with their own log in.
E-Safety is taught throughout the year and reinforced regularly. Stories are used through discussion with younger children to remind them of the importance of not sharing personal information online. Children take part in activities during Internet Safety Day each year and have an E-Safety assembly.
Computing can be a little daunting to start with and if you would like more information about how to support your child at home please refer to the Knowledge Organizers, which summarise the key learning. Alternatively speak to Mrs McDonald who will guide you in the right direction.
