Spellings
As you will know we send home 5 weekly spellings for children to learn. There are also additional 'challenge' spellings if you want to extend your child further. These are optional.
By the end of Year 2 children should know all of the words listed in the ‘Year 2 section’ below.
If your little person has achieved this goal before the end of the year, please get cracking on the Year 3 Common Exception words!
Below you will also find a useful document from the No Nonsense Spelling Programme which we start using in Year 2 (normally in term 2). This includes helpful tips for learning and remembering spellings!
